JANGGATE:Lalong Is Using Tactics to Arrest and Detain Jang-PDP

The PDP in Plateau State are condeming the detention of former Governor and serving Senator Dariye, Jonah Jang by the Economic and Financial crimes Commission. In a statement issued by Mr J.T Akans the state publicity secretary, the PDP are alleging that Governor Lalong is behind the travails of the embattled Senator. Mr Akans writes: As a responsible party , we are worried, because senator jang's right to personal liberty has been violated by his continued detention beyond the permissible period by the constitution. This singular act is a clear manifestation of authoritarian and dictatorial posture of the Buhari's administration. Therefore we are calling on the government to unconditionally release His Excellency Dist senator Da jonah jang CON. Because his arrest and detention is another tactics by the Lalong administration to silence PDP on the plateau, but we are determined than ever before to send the governor and his cronies packing come 2019. Also let the APC take note that no amount of intimidation or mudslinging will deterred PDP from reclaiming back the people's mandate (power )come 2019. In the same vain, the people's Democratic party plateau state stands in solidarity with senator Jang , as always the party is calling on the good people of plateau state to come out in mass to give maximum support and solidarity to one of our leader senator Da jonah Jang on Monday 14 may 2018 considering his track record of achievement while serving as the governor of the state. We also call on our members to remain strong and resolute at this moment of tribulations.
