PDP(BADUNG FACTION) CALLS FOR SHIFT OF LG ELECTIONS,ACCUSE SANGO OF N10MILLION BRIBE

The Badung led Faction of the PDP in Plateau State have issued a press statement calling for a suspenion of the Local Government Elections or a shift in the date to clear gray areas with PLASIEC accusing The D.T Sango faction of collecting ten million naira bribe to aid the APC have a landslide victory.

The publicity secretary of the Hon Badung Pam group of PDP in Plateau state,loyal to Sen Allimodu Sheriff the former national chairman of PDP,Hon Emmanuel Macham JP. have called for a shift in local government election in Plateau state by PLASIEC to a later date,due to lack of transparency in the buildup to the 17th,February 2018 by the election empire in the state.

"We are also taking by out must surprise by an alleged donation of Ten million naira by the state government to DT Sango faction,which we suspect is aimed at compromising the schedule local government election.

It may interest many to know that majority of the aspirant under the PDP are members of our group in the state,out of 325 councilors presented 220 are members loyal to our movement and 10 out of the 17 chairmanship candidates are also active members of our group,which we tactically ask them to play alone with the Sango group to emerged pending the determination of the suit file against us by DT Sango,which our sources reveal the are now aware hence there willingness to compromised the election.

We are therefore not surprise if money exchange hands which we have enough evidence to justify our claim,the venue,date and time the said funds where collected by Sango,who pleaded that Plasiec should declare only Riyom LGA for him as part of the agreement.13 members of his group were giving #50,000 each and the remaining was pocketed which is also generating a lot of heated argument within them already.

The Inability of plasiec to recruit adhoc staff,is a critical area which should also be looked into for a transparent election to take place,with less than 12days to election no information is coming out from the electoral empire which is suspicious in totality.

No wonder plasiec have totally ignored the court case on the leadership of the PDP in Plateau state chapter and have been having dealings with the other group.

In conclusion for failure of Plasiec to display the INEC qualified registered voters and inability to fairly recruit ad hoc staff to conduct this election.we call for a shift and reconstitution of the electoral body and election to be conducted not later than April in the interest of justice".
