2019:PAMSON DAGYAT BOWS TO LALONG'S POLITICAL SCHEMING

Lalong Commissioners: An illusion of a Master Schemer 1.0 On 01/03/18, Gov Lalong swore-in 23 new Commissioners that hopefully will serve his balance of one and 1/4 year tenure. The question by political pundits is ‘what informed the change of Commissioners when the previous ones were made redundant for lack of monetary releases? 1.1 My take and those of Plateau Progressives is one and the same! These Commissioners are carefully selected and packaged to enhance Lalong 2019 Vote-Mining and possibly to guarantee an APC majority Members State House of Assembly. 1.2. The summary of the Lalong strategy is to re-consolidate on the 2015 alliance between the Plateau Central and Southern zone. This ordinarily explains the allotment of two Commissioners for two LG in each of the zone. 1.3 Let me give you a quick guide by given you synopsis of each LG strategy. 2.0 The Central Zone 2.1 For Mangu LG, the schemers allotted two Commissioners to enhance Tyoden capacity to redeliver the LG for APC in case he is chosen to run alone with Lalong again. On the one hand the two Commissioners are to help Lalong absolve shock if he decides to change Tyoden with another running mate outside Mangu LG. Be that as it may, the strategist seems to anchored their strength more on the paternal presence of the first lady and her family’s multi appointment goodwill to extract votes in the LG in 2019. 3.0 Southern Zone 3.1 For Shendam LG, the tacticians loaded this LG with appointment, a clear manifestation of the Goemai Agenda, yet they still stuff to the brim additional two Commissioners to the LG. This signifies that these appointees would be expected to offer maximal vote harvest for Lalong 2019. 3.2  For Quanpaan LG, the plan is to uphold the Goemai agenda by adding another Commissioner to his kinsmen. The second Commissioner is to appease the Pan people who are devote PDP incline and probably earn some votes. 3.3 For Wase LG, only one Commissioner was allotted because a second one would mean giving the Tarok/Kadarko axis one. This Commissioner is drafted not for his LG vote mining but for a holistic re-branding of the Lalong legacy across Plateau. 4.0 Northern Zone 4.1 For Jos East LG, this is the heartland of the Izere nation who professes their love for Lalong government probably more than the Goemai's. Lalong Tacticians continue to complement the Izeres with appointments at every opportunity. The recent newly appointed PLASU VC is from this nationality. The goal to maximized votes among the Izeres 4.2 For Jos North LG, Lalong strategies showed desperation here in holding strong to the caliphate fraternity to mine the Moslem votes by returning a non performing Commissioner and consolidated with the Izeres with their  second Commissioner. 4.3 For Jos South LG, Lalong Strategies accept a zero inroad for the APC nonetheless a systematic smear campaign against Jang and the investment by Lalong to woes Jang political Godsons. This is to create division among the Berom which did not workout as anticipated. Therefore the Lalong strategies returned back to the old Dariye second tenure formula of concentrating on the Zawan community like was the case with Botmang (Frm Dep Gov). Lalong is now seeking succor from the Berom (A case of the rejected stone now becoming the corner stone). 5.0 The Shortfall of this Lalong maneuvers. 5.1 First and foremost, the 2015 solidarity between the Central and Southern Zone is no more tenable because the Central zone is arguing strongly that they deserve the Guber seat now and not 2023. They are supporting their agitations on ground that the Southern zone is now enjoying their 3rd person on the number one seat (Lar, Tapgun and Lalong) whereas they (Central) only had one (Dariye). That a new replacement of Lalong will adds to the Southern Zone tally of four. Also they are skeptical that a new Governor may want to extend legitimate tenure of a second term thereby increasing their zone waiting time. 5.2  The seven Commissioners stuffed in the Central Zone will make zero impact in mining votes for Lalong 2019. The true impact these Commissioners can at best offer is to enhance a Dariye's return to the Senate. 5.3  The vote mining impact of the 8 Commissioners flooded in the Southern Zone can only be felt among the Goemai’s with 3 Commissioners in actualization of their ethnic agenda. The Tarok who have higher voting strength in the zone have their plans which does not synchronize with the Goemai's cos the two will go Jugular to jugular for the number one seat in both APC and PDP. The minority ethnic group of the Southern Zone (Pan and Mikang's) are not joking as well in eying the Governor’s seat. Therefore the zonal solidarity enjoyed in 2015 election aren't gonna be there. 5.4  The Northern Zone will REMAIN the bride for 2019, except for probably the Izeres and the Moslem voters, the zone will go bloc in the direction to be led by Jang/Sango. Regardless of what any political pundit or strategies may think and or say, sustained hostility to Jang is an expensive political mistake which Lalong had plunge-in with careless abandon. 6.0 My Conclusion is that the new Lalong Commissioners put together by his strategic Team are for vote mining and not any service or administrative delivery.
