GALLANT SOLDIERS RESCUE AGED WIDOW IN DAFFO-BOKKOS

Some men of the Nigerian army sent to Daffo In Bokkos to quell the violent attacks that bedevilled the villagers rescued an aged widow h Taking refuge in the bush. Kaka Magdalene Ulai Paul Maligit, a widow ran for safety in the heat of the attack by unidentified fukani herdsmen as relayed by the villagers. "When the fulani herdsmen attacked the remote village, Warrem Hottom, In Hottom of Daffo District, Bokkos LGA on Thursday night March 8 2018, shooting sophisticated weapons, displacing, maiming and killing the poor defenseless citizens of Nigeria, the strong and agile ones ran away. A cousin of mine, Anthony Agai hid her in a shrub of bushes. She felt lonely, walked out and met with some fulani herdsmen who assured her that they wont harm her, that she should go and stay in her house. She lived there alone without food and water since then until today I rushed down to Daffo and with the Wonderful support of gallant Nigerian Soldiers, we went to Warrem Hottom and brought her to Daffo. She is presently in my house in Bokkos Town" Cyril Danjuma Mafai, who narrated the news to Munatarenews is the immediate past Chairman, Plateau Youth Council PYC Bokkos LGA branch. Violent attacks have reared its ugly head in Daffo after a squabble between a native and a fuLani man that led to loss of many lives over a land dispute.
