PDP LEADERSHIP TUSSLE:COURT GIVES SANGO FACTION LIFELINE

The PDP leadership in Plateau State tussle between Hon Gyang Badung Pam group and Hon Damishi Sango group came up today 21st,March 2018 at the JMDB magistrate court in Jos,Presided by Her Lordship Justice Parbong. You will recall that the matter was mention on 31st,January 2018,council to Hon Sango Hon Gyang Nazi' pleaded with the court to grant an out of court settlement with the accused persons and the matter was adjourned to 21st,March 2018. When the matter came up today counsel to Hon Sango pleaded with the court and said the could not resolve the matter due to failure to reach out to the accused persons and pleaded for more time to explore avenues of reaching out to the accused persons within a shortest possible time and report back to the court. Counsel to Hon Gyang Badung Pam did not object to the complainant request but reminded the court of the period this matter have lingered,Bar Aluma and three other counsel said this matter is surprising,we keep getting surprise statements at each adjourned date from the complainant,we are not objecting to the out of court settlement but this is a criminal matter instituted against my client,this matter have restricted a lot of activities my client intend to carry out.we keep hearing stories at each adjourned date,the complainant is at liberty to either continue witg the matter or seek for out of court settlement,they brought my client to the court and wish to remind the court of our readiness on each action the complainant choices. Her Lordship Justice Parbong express her displeasure with the complainant and warn the legal team of Hon Sango group,reminding them of the numerous adjournments they have sought from the court.she declared that today's adjourment is the last on this matter and adjourned the case to 19th,April 2018. After the court session Hon Emmanuel Macham Jp the spokesman of the Hon Badung Pam faction loyal to Sen Allimodu Sheriff said "we have not taken any action after the supreme court ruling despite having every requirement to do so.we have wash our hands off every action,because we don't want to be credited to the failure and complete collapse of the party or be blamed when the party finally fail to achieve any result,with Hon Sango as PDP chairman in Plateau,nothing good will come out of the once ruling party in the state.we will continue to pray for the Uche Secondus led NWC to excel".
