In Plateau central House of Representatives seat for Pankshin/Kanam constituency,according to the Yandar Ngas, Prince Sekat it is a two horse race between the incumbent Hon. Timothy Golu from Kanke and a PDP member and Hon.Yusuf Gagdi a house of assembly member representing Kantana constituency from Kanam,who is an APC stalwart.

A CASE STUDY OF HON TIMOTHY GOLU II......
As I have said in my previous analysis of the politics in PKK and Plateau Central Senatorial Zone,I personally interviewed Hon Timothy Golu to hear his own side of the story and to know whether he is contesting as been rumoured by his supporters or not.
In a chat with Hon Timothy Golu,he said,yes I am recontesting,what you heard is the truth and i said why are do you want to go back?,he said, Pankshin has done it twice,Kanam twice,Kanke should be given the second chance,I am not saying I am the most competent person or the best for PKK but I am convinced within myself to recontest and I have spoken to my supporters about it and we have all agreed to work towards seeing that we clinched the seat again next year....
Prince Sekat, Sir, don't you think those who are contesting for senate position from Kanke and especially from your village and Ward will not hinder you?
Golu..To me,no one is a threat to my aspiration and ambition, they are free to aspire, they are going to the senate and I am going back to the House of representatives,if I got the ticket and they got theirs so be it, it's going to be a plus to the Ngas nation,it happens in Bokkos,Dariye and Maren,did Mwaghavul nation faults it? No.
Prince Sekat... sir,I thought the politics in PKK is a give and take kind of a thing, how are you going to handle it, especially the people of Kanam local Government?
Golu....I have said it before, and I am repeating it again,I don't have problem with the people of Kanam local Government,they are my people and I am there own,the issue of House of representatives cannot and will never divide us and they are equally competent and capable to contest for senate position too, it's not an exclusive position for some people, just like if you can see,many people from Pankshin are warming up for the position, Rt Hon Emma Goar,Prof Dakum Shown,Nde Molwus,Rt Hon Istifanus Mwansat and many more are contesting by the special grace of God and as I said Kanam can do same..
If we are talking of local zoning then why didn't Bogghom allowed the Jahr people to go for the house of representatives position? Bogghom has done it before, allow Jahr people to try it this time that is equity and justice.

Golu is not disturb at all about 2019 elections,his belief is that, politics is a game of luck and no amount of Gang up against his re-election will deter him.
My investigation shows that the only person that maybe a threat to his re-election bit is any candidate that may come from the Jahr tribe especially the smartest Gagdi whose politics is in his blood, Gagdi is a political Maradona and he cannot be toyed with, and Hon Timothy Golu will be glad to see someone from Pankshin or Kanam getting the plateau central senatorial ticket,that will give him clear passage and a ticket to go back to the house of representatives for the second time.
The 2018/2019 political year will be very interesting as many political gladiators will test their strength and popularity.
