BUHARI'S SILENCE IS UN-PRESIDENTIAL -MAKUT

One of the selling point of the Buhari candidacy was the fact that he was seen as a former General that can tackle insecurity and insurgency.

The greatest undoing of the Jonathan administration was when it played politics with the abduction of the chibok girls and the menace of Boko Haram.

I am a core buharist and I voted for Change from the ineptitude of the last administration  especially on security  lapses.

As the Chief security officer of Nation and the Commander in chief of the armed forces President Muhammadu Buhari has to ensure that every Nigerian is secured both within and outside our shores.

There has been series of clashes and attacks of farmers/herdsmen across the country, incessant in Benue, Taraba,Plateau and other neighbouring States with no any arrest made by security operatives as most times the report always point to the nomenclature "Unknown Gunmen" or "Unknown Herdsmen" and one wonders whether they are ghosts that vanish into thin air whenever they attack.

The essence of this discourse is to intimate Mr President that his silence on the issue of Farmer/Herdsmen is worrisome and sends a lot of wrong  signals to the people of Nigeria.

The argument that the president is sending his aides to the troubled spots is not enough.
There was a public statement and condemnation of Boko Haram by the president that has led to their decimation to the bearest minimum, the proscription of IPOB that has rendered them faceless, the arrest of shitte leader and his incarceration etc.
Nigerians are worried that the farmers/herdsmen attack is fast becoming a new "Boko Haram" as many lives have been lost from Benue to Plateau and Mr President has not spoken about it as the commander in chief of the armed forces giving room for so many school of thoughts and hearsay, especially those connecting it to his kinsmen ,the Fulani's.

As the president of Nigeria,Mr President must not rest until Nigerians are secured all across the country, whenever the life of a Nigerian is lost ,the president must feel sober as a father of the Nation.
Recently,Mr president fell sick and Nigerians prayed for his recovery and when his son was engulfed in a motorbike accident Nigerians still prayed and are still praying for the number one family.

Some even argued that if Mr President can visit his son in the hospital then he ought to have taken the next flight to Benue when over twenty people lost their lives in a dastardly attack to show compassion and concern.

It is evident that their are cabals within the presidency that have taken the silence and health issues of the president to hoard vital information and advice from reaching Mr President on the state of the nation.

A WORD TO THE PRESIDENT

There is no excuse for failure Mr President, I think it is high time you bring your wife out of the "other room" as she knows the cabals that are dragging your government backwards "when you are fighting corruption ,corruption is fighting back". Makut,2017

Mr President ,it is worrisome that in your New year broadcast you did not make a mention of the Herdsmen/Farmers attack which is inexcusable and your protocol/ media team should take the blame for that executive blunder as they did not feel the pulse of the nation to bring that vital issue on the table.

Nigerians voted a President to represent their interests and protect their lives and property and the buck of that stops at the desk of the commander in chief.

My advice is that if your security apparatus are not up to task in curtailing the menace of the clashes then it is imminent on you to honour them with a " sack" and bring in those that can do the Job.

Nigerians want to hear from their President,Nigerians want action and an end to this mayhem of killing innocent lives for whatsoever reason.
