DRUG ABUSE:MANGU WOMEN MARCH AGAINST OGOSKOLO

In a bid to end the menace of locally brewed gin "Ogoskolo" the Mwaghavul development association,Women wing came out in numbers weeping and protesting  against the sales and consumption of Ogoskolo in Mangu Local Government area of Plateau State.


It was a sober reflection, and a face

saving initiative as the entire women wing matched and displayed their dismay in tears  against the sales of elicit drugs and other related hard substance and its consumption in mangu LGA and environs, the campaign cut across the 9 districts occupied by the mwaghavul  chiefdoms out of 11 in the LGA, the president of the association Dr Mrs Zepporah Dughuryil condemned in totality the sales and consumption of elicit drugs and gave out the statistics of young men that lost their precious lives as a result of elicit drugs and call on all meaningful sons and daughters of mwaghavul land to join hands in the fight against the menace.

 Amidst tight schedule, the dogged and ever zealous MWAGHAVUL YOUTH PRESIDENT, A SOCIAL CRUSADER, AND ADVOCATE OF YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN LEADERSHIP, THE PIONEERING LEADER OF THE FIGHT AGAINST GOSKOLO AND AN ASPIRANT FOR THE STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY COME 2019 COMR MATHEW S.KWARPO  participated in the crusade after mourning with one of  his exco's over the death oh his father, he demonstrated  his dogged nature and zeal for service to humanity in his usual nature and promise to champion the fight even after his handing over as the President of the movement come 9Feb2018. The campaign which was reached out to various secondary in the city center,in ground to give the women support were Tim Best they former MYM chairman mangu district, Obadiah Damwaghal (Obosco) MYM chairman kombun district, and other notable personalities.
