The Ghana-9ja musical feud seems to be on the front burner as Wizkid touched down in Accra and posted on instagram “A guy man no fit guy a guy man”, a shade most feel was directed to Shatta Wale.
Recently Shatta Wale a top dancehall act from Ghana did a diss song titled "Disaster" where he took shades on the star boy CEO.
Recall few weeks back, Shatta Wale threatened to disrupt Wizkid in Ghana, whenever the latter comes to his country to perform.. of course he landed Ghana, and he performed at the aiteo CAF Awards which held yesterday in Accra.
Ghanaian journalist blasts Wizkid’s performance at the Aiteo/CAF Awards.
The recently held Aiteo/CAF Awards is still eliciting responses from different quarters - A Ghanaian journalist criticised Nigerian musician Wizkid’s performance at the prestigious event - He said Wizkid dressed like someone who lost his way to the gym.
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that there was a dearth of Ghanaian artistes at the recently held Aiteo/CAF Awards. So much so that actress Juliet Ibrahim took to her Twitter page to explain that Ghanaians need to respect their entertainers because if they do not do so, other countries will not do it for them.
A Ghanaian journalist and prominent member of Ghana’s New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko took to his Facebook stage to criticize Wizkid’s performance at the event.
He wrote on his twitter handle that Wizkid dressed as if he lost his way to the gym.
Read his full post below: “Almost a perfect programme at the CAF Awards soiled by lack of local content. But why, they couldn’t find any Ghanaian musician? Pathetic! Instead of treating us to some good Ghanaian performances, as well, CAF decided to populate the stage with Naija ones plus others, including a Nigerian artiste who was dressed as if he lost his way to the gym. I hear he is called Wizkid.”
