In a Statement signed by the Chairman,Pius Tongmaan the group is asking the citizens of Plateau to rate the Governor based on dividends of democracy and his performance in governance rather than the sentiments been peddled by Merchants of crisis on social media platforms,forums and public discussions.

As the battle for Plateau 2019 draws closer, we have noticed a calculated attempt to misguide the citizens of Plateau by "Merchants of Political Crisis"
There is a strong campaign against his Excellency Governor Simon Bako Lalong been carried out by the Opposition.
The rumors is that our governor has an agenda and that he favours Hausa Fulani more than the natives and that he is Collaborating with them to forcefully snatch the natives land and hand it over to the Hausa Fulani, (Balderdash,cheap and divisive Propaganda and campaign of Calumny) carried out by people who always benefit in orgy of violence to score cheap political goals,they want to destabalise our hard earned relative peace on the Plateau.
This cheap blackmail sold to the gullible is been discussed in Taxis, worship Centers,beer parlours,markets and other public places.
Plateau People beware of desperados for power that want to cause religious, ethnic and tribal conflict to woo your votes.
Governor Simon Lalong is a peaceful man that has worked assiduously to make Plateau peaceful and accommodate all Nigerians as Plateau State is a Miniature Nigeria.
On the heels of his statement that was misquoted and blown out of proportion by the media,the peace loving Governor has since issued an apology ,sent a high powered delegation and also joined some Governors to Benue to commiserate with the people and cement the unity of the Plateau/Benue people of old.
To err is human and to forgive is divine,The Governor has since made peace with his colleague Ortom and the people of Benue, appallingly some people have not forgiven themselves and are still making a mountain out of a molehill of the situation for political reasons,playing politics with the lives of people is condemnable.
On the issue of ranching/Colony, the Governor has made it clear that consultations are still rife to fathom a formidable model that will be all encompassing for Plateau State due to the peculiar nature of the state.
Anyone that whips up sentiments on the basis of Religion is an enemy of the state and Nigeria.
As law abiding citizens of Plateau,Let our conscience be the Judge using our PVC to either vote Lalong or anyone of our choice based on Performance and dividends of democracy and not because of these misguided statements of hate and prejudice based on ethnic,tribal and religious sentiments.
Plateau is ours to protect.
