BOKKOS: Lalong To Honour "NAHWAI" Cultural Festival in Butura

Governor Simon Bako Lalong is set to lead an array of traditional rulers and dignitaries to honour "NAHWAI" Day in Butura Land of Bokkos Local Government Area.

NAHWAI is an annual cultural festival of the Ron  people of Butura land,it is aimed at promoting the cultural heritage
of the Butura nation by enhancing
unity,peace,togetherness and the hospitable nature  of the people with its neighbors.

The Butura Development Association (BUDA) and the entire Butura Nation of Bokkos Local Government Area in conjunction with the Butura Traditional Council is set to hold its annual Cultural Festival "NAHWAI " 2018.

This years edition is packed with a lot of innovations with a focus on preserving and safeguarding the cultural heritage of the Butura People.

The NAHWAI festival will start with a week Long prayers...

*Free Medical Outreach (7th-9th February, 2018.)

*Coronation of "KOCHOCK" (Elders Forum) 8th February, 2018.

*NAHWAI Day- 10th February 2018
