- Following a comment by the executive Governor of Plateau State Simon Lalong about advising his counterpart in Benue that was blown by the media and a subsequent press release by G17, a youth group on the Plateau,The APC ONLINE YOUTH FORUM have come out to debunk the claims by G17 and accuse the opposition of playing politics with the statement of the Governor.
RE: OUR SYMPATHY TO BENUE STATE CONDEMNATION OF GOV. LALONG'S STATEMENT ON BENUE SITUATION AND REJECTION OF CATTLE COLONIES
The APC youth online wish to express our heartfelt condolences to the peace loving people of Benue over the unfortunate incident of senseless killings carried out by the herdsmen. We pray that all the killers will be apprehended and punished in accordance with the laws of the land.
The APC youths are surprised at the so called message circulating the social media by a PDP youth group called G-17. The APC would have waved their statements away as they have been known for spreading falsehood immediately after loosing the 2015 governorship election. Your sobbing/crying behaviour can only be liken to a baby whose feeding bottle has been removed and is ready to tear/destroy anything before him/her with a notion "a rasa duka". This is simply due to loss of that political power and so APC youth wish to put the records straight so that these crying babies don't mislead the public any longer.
1. Your quick condemnation of the listening and humble Governor of plateau state Rt hon Barr Simon Bako Lalong judging from media headline without studying the content is not only unfortunate, but also invidious. Your hype and mischievous/preemptive interpretation of the governor's interview/statement exposed the gullibility and shallow nature of your minds/comprehension.
2. To allege that the governor is not aware of the content of the proposed colonies is a height of arrogance taken too far seeing that the governor in same chart alluded to the fact that he took experts from the state to the agriculture minister to get clear explanation concerning the proposal. To add a disjointed allegation to the Governor's acceptance and readiness to implement a vague grazing reserve and routes in 2016 simply because Ortom alleged without any document to that effect nor confirm same from the second party only shows the desperation in your haste write up.
3. For you to debunk the donation of land for Ranching with careless and uncultured use of words against the person of the governor only goes to show how immature this PDP group is and also shows how lawless that assembly is gradually becoming.
It has also goes to show your highest level of hypocrisy as your leader and benefactor/financier in the person of Senator Jonah David Jang while he was governor had a white paper to that effect with the proposed land in Kanam and capped with a budgetary provision in 2014 by that same government. Are you in any way suggesting that if its not coming from 'us' then it's not correct? Come on wake up from that illusion!
4. Your fictional statement of being resolute on an alleged ban on open grazing in plateau state is completely the highest height of hypocrisy, day dream and crass display of egocentric character that is not only empty, but shameless.
The same you G- whatever refused the call by the state government in time past for brainstorming. You rather chose the path of protest thereby carrying gullible citizens to go with you into that expired way of expressing genuine grievance in the 21st century which such is only contemplated as the last resort except for ignoramus, attention/name seekers and/or mischief makers who are bent on seeing that nothing good comes out of a government they lost to.
The 21st century where knowledge drives decisions are discussed and not displayed, but you the youth wing of PDP called G-17 chose the primitive way only to shamelessly come up with a hypocritical document you tag "citizens Bill" with the establishment of Ranching to replace the open grazing, the same Ranching policy that the humble and listening governor proposed for brainstorming with all citizens including the same PDP youth group to inject its input. What a senseless display of ego by returning to your vomit? Are you in any way into any popularity contest with the governor?
Oh oh oh! You want to score cheap political points eh! But sorry for you because your intent was long sighted and thrown into the trash bin.
Our group is law abiding wish to once again extend our sympathy to the entire people of Benue state and any other state that lost their love ones as a result of the senseless act of cowards who hide in the darkness of the night to barbarically snuff out the breath of innocent lives. And we call on President Muhammadu Buhari to use every possible means to ensure that these senseless killings in the country is nipped in the bud to avoid further occurrence or escalation. The security agents should make sure the perpetrators are not only fished out, but are dealt with like the dreaded boko haram as their module operandi seems the same.
In conclusion, we pray that the good Lord will expose every act of killing and killers for whatever reason in this country and secure Nigerians from their evil eyes.
Long live Nigeria!
